Good Morning

What do you think when you read or hear that God has the hairs of your head numbered? Do you think “Man God is really into detail!”? Or do you wonder why the God of the universe would be so focused on you? I read that if God had a refrigerator, your picture would be on it. If He had a wallet, your photo would be in it. Those are interesting thoughts. Consider that God sends you flowers ever spring and a sunrise every morning. He’s ready to listen whenever you’re ready to talk to Him. So then why did He save us, He wanted to be in a relationship with a creation that would feel His love and willingly return love. He has one creation, of all that He’s brought into being throughout the universe that we know, one creation capable of what He wants, that’s you and me.

In casual terms, He’s fond of us. I think He likes the idea of having us around for eternity. He liked the idea so much that He paid an unbelievable price to secure your presence. Why in this world would anyone pass up the chance to accept such love? Disbelief? Pride? I’m sure I had my reasons, as did you. This might be a good time to tell God again how thankful we are that He came to us that one more time. When you consider the meaning of Easter, remember that it wasn’t just to keep you out of Hell; it was to offer you eternal life. “Because I live, you shall live also” said the One whose love we’ll spend an eternity trying to understand.
